I am so pleased to welcome you.

My Restful Mind offers counselling and psychotherapy to help you get back to living life to the full. Common mental health difficulties affect one in four people at any one time. People tend not to talk about their mental health so difficulties often go under reported. Talking therapies can give you the opportunity to explore your feelings and their effect on your life, to help you to understand your difficulties and provide real solutions.

Common problems include depression and anxiety. Mental health problems are often associated with poor sleep.

Depression

Depression can be experienced as a reaction to negative events on your life or can appear to come out of nowhere. It can seriously affect your ability to live your life to the full and can impact your life in many ways such as relationships, work and social life.

Anxiety

Anxiety can present in many ways.  Common anxiety problems include chronic worry, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder. Again, all these things impact your life negatively in many ways.

Sleep

Sleep is a fundamental  need for all animals including human beings.  Insomnia and sleep problems are prevalent in modern society.  In recent years people have been getting less and less sleep.  Lots of health problems are linked to poor sleep and sometimes common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression often impact on our ability to sleep well. When our sleep suffers it affects our whole physical and mental being. 

 

My Restful Mind is here to help with evidence based therapy specifically designed to tackle mental health difficulties and sleep problems and offer real solutions. To get your life back to normal.
