My Story
I am Jo and have set up My Restful Mind to support people who are struggling with sleep problems as well as anxiety and depression.
I have been working in a therapeutic role for 15 years having qualified as an integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist in 2010, working for various charities. I then completed CBT training and worked in the NHS for many years. During this time I worked with many people experiencing problems with sleep, enabling them to improve their sleep significantly.
Since 2019 I have been teaching student therapists for the NHS. During this time I have taught students to support people experiencing anxiety and depression. I also specialised in teaching therapeutic skills to work with insomnia and improve sleep difficulties. I have taken further training in sleep work as it's an area which I am passionate about.
I provide personalised empathic support, helping people to overcome sleep difficulties and common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
